Rated 4,4 out of 5 by 5 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Day aker for 2013 Street Bob This light (with low and high beam both on) is far superior to the first generation Daymaker that I had on my sporty. However it caused the security light to come on and set DTC B2136. Apparently on low beam the current draw is so low that the body module thinks the low beam is out and it turns on the security light and sets the code. Clearing the code only works until you turn on the low beam and it sets again. It remains to be seen if HD has a solution. Once the problem is fixed I would give the product five stars. It's pricey but head and shoulders above the stock headlight. April 6, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Possibly the first thing you should get for your bike It's far superior to the stock light; I can't believe I didn't do this sooner. The light lives up to the hype! I'm seeing street signs and anything reflective so much further away. November 6, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Excellent Lighting Upgrade Pricy but much much more visible for night and day riding. It looks pretty cool too. Very unique. Be warned though: The black kit comes with a black trim ring and NOT chrome as pictured here and on the packaging. Star deduction: Black trim ring, Pricey, Requires purchase of replacement bucket (also only available in black, not chrome.) Hey H-D!!.. Offer up a complimenting set of auxilary lights that'll fit an FXD without compromising compatability with windsheilds. October 13, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great light I only give this a four star because, even with the auxiliary lights, street lights interfere with the ability to see. Also, this light pierces the night great, but does NOT give off a great amount of illumination in a "halo" type of way. Much better than stock. A bit pricey - the price is marginal for the value. Answer:
No need to go to a single headlight on your Fat Bob you can keep the duals! But...don't forget to pick up a 5-3/4" LED Headlamp Housing Kit P/N 67700093 (2) and a Mounting Block P/N 67741-06 (2) to complete the install.

Answer:
The new and improved Daymaker gives off MORE light if you can believe it! We've added two more lower lights that shoot out a lower beam that's aimed towards the road right in front of you, while the others flood light farther ahead.

And they are DOT approved and ECE, too.

Answer:
I didn't have the extra wire when I installed mine but I did hear about this from someone else in an internet forum and he just put some electrical tape over it and called it good.

Buy Back Break?

In exchange for buying a NEW Daymaker will H-D offer a buy back refund/rebate for those of us who bought the first gen Daymaker? Was that product out even a year and now it's been upgraded?.. Essentially telling us, the consumers, that it was inferior even as it was being sold?

My dealer is saying I only need one light and no housing or mounting blocks. The answer to a related question here says I need two of each. Sorry, but a bit confused.

The instructions in the online catalog only cover single light set-ups.

Can use some advice. My dealer is several thousand miles and a plane ride away so need to get it right the first time.
