Cut through the night. Harley-Davidson® LED Lamps are brighter and whiter in color and provide a superior light pattern over standard incandescent lamps. Compared to the yellow light of a traditional halogen bulb, the LED lamp produces a daylight color impression that appears more natural to the user.

  • 5-3/4" Headlamp with black backplate
  • Feature two "D" shaped optical lenses, single low-beam lens, and three high-beam lenses
  • Low-beam pattern remains on at all times, and the switched high beam adds additional punch down the middle of the road
  • LED lamps are DOT and ECE approved

Rated 4,6 out of 5 by 9 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Optic blast! The light that comes out of the Daymaker will physically push all vehicles off to the side! No, not really. But it is the single best thing you can put on your bike to make it safer. The main beam is bright but doesn't seem to blind drivers up front. The side beams create this rectangle of light that seems to illuminate both sides of your peripheral vision. Unlike the OEM halogens, the LED high beams are only needed for quick flashes. Installation was 30 minutes. Though not all instructions are included so keep the bike's manual nearby. I think LED headlamps should be standard on every bike. It must use very little power. Anyways, almost forgot to mention that the Daymaker is expensive. That's my only complaint. August 25, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by The Daymaker is a MUST have! After debating for months I have finally purchased the Daymaker LED headlight. One of my buddies had installed the Daymaker on his Street Glide and when we were leaving bike night I was blown away as to how bright this light is. First thing I did was purchase the Daymaker! It is a MUST have for night riding. The low beam with the wide angle gives a great view of the road a head and the sides of the road. When using the high beam the wide angle is cut down a little, but still a hell of a lot better than stock. It is a bit pricy, but you will forget about how deep you had to reach into your pocket to buy it. As mentioned before, Harley-Davidson motorcycles should ALL come standard with this light!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 by ITS WORTH THE MONEY! Ive got a 2011 Vrod Night Rod Special and the stock light that comes with the bike is nothing to get excited about. Night riding was awful. I replaced the light with a HID light that I purchased on line and my night riding got a little better in regards to how far I could see. I debated over the Day Maker LED light for a year. I looked at other bikes with it and went into shops to see how they looked and get feed back. I have now been riding with the LED Blacked-out light for a couple months and i am blown away. HD should just put this light on all of their bikes. It's expensive but absolutely worth the money. May 15, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Make my night I have a quarter fairing on my 1999 Dyna Superglide Sport and it was like driving with blinders on at night. I put the Daymaker™ head light on and my headlamp is brighter than some cars on the road. I highly recommend it for safety reasons. I can also tell when I am riding during the day that cars on the road can see me better. I think!!! May 14, 2014

Answer:
No need to go to a single headlight on your Fat Bob you can keep the duals! But...don't forget to pick up a 5-3/4" LED Headlamp Housing Kit P/N 67700093 (2) and a Mounting Block P/N 67741-06 (2) to complete the install.

Answer:
The new and improved Daymaker gives off MORE light if you can believe it! We've added two more lower lights that shoot out a lower beam that's aimed towards the road right in front of you, while the others flood light farther ahead.

And they are DOT approved and ECE, too.

Answer:
The extra wire is to make the HD logo light up. It's required for international models. I was reading that it needs to be connected to an accessory connection to connect it the way it should be.

Answer:
I didn't have the extra wire when I installed mine but I did hear about this from someone else in an internet forum and he just put some electrical tape over it and called it good.

Buy Back Break?

In exchange for buying a NEW Daymaker will H-D offer a buy back refund/rebate for those of us who bought the first gen Daymaker? Was that product out even a year and now it's been upgraded?.. Essentially telling us, the consumers, that it was inferior even as it was being sold?

My dealer is saying I only need one light and no housing or mounting blocks. The answer to a related question here says I need two of each. Sorry, but a bit confused.

The instructions in the online catalog only cover single light set-ups.

Can use some advice. My dealer is several thousand miles and a plane ride away so need to get it right the first time.
